WWII Museums
Florida is home to many WWII museums who share the history of the role the United States - particularly Florida - played in this global war. From the battlefield to the home front, Floridians were active in the fight. With more than 170 military installations training over 248,000 Floridian soldiers and thousands of others - such as the 150,000 Navy, Marine Corp and Army personnel who passed through amphibious training in the state.
